Cry Me A River Fest 2009 DVD

That’s right, you thought it would never happen, but it is nearly completed: The DVD documenting the Cry Me A River Fest 2009! You get to see performances of all bands of this years fest, it is compiled by Sean of the lovely Dolcim (who will soon have some new tunes out, perpare yourself for them!).

You can get it soon for 5 Euros plus postage either from Lars of React With Protest Records or directly by Sean for people living outside Europe

Preorder Titan’s new album at React With Protest

React With Protest Records has just announced a new preorder deal: You can get the new LP of the Canadian Titan called “Colossus” on coloured vinyl for 10 Euros plus postage. The record should be done just in time for their release party on November 13th. This is even better than the glorious 4-song EP “The Chrysanthemum Pledge” which was released on React With Protest Records in 2007.

Today React With Protest Records has put out some news about future releases, in short here are the important information:

• The Third Memory 12inch is finally done and available, you can order it right now.
• Battle Of Wolf 359 should finish their recording sessions for their first full-length soon, the records will be pressed as soon as possible.
• End of february / early march you can expect a new split 7inch on RWP, this time between the almighty Merkit and Germany’s new supergroup Resurrectionists.
• the Emo Annihilation Comp is sold out, but a second press is already on its way.

RWP News January 2009

hi folks,
after some short break we are back with some exciting news from React With Protest Records:

• The Third Memory’s 2nd LP will be available in early february, you can already preorder it in the RWP Webstore.
• The long delayed Battle Of Wolf 359 full-length should be available in february, too.
• The Dolcim full-length is planned for march / april 2009 and is thus ready for the band’s European Tour in May / June.
• The news about the Cry Me A River Fest 2009 are old news for us besides some more confirmed bands. Just have a look here.

The Third Memory – 2nd LP pre-order

The Third Memory’s second full-length will be released pretty soon. This is a split release of ROK LOK Records, Sadness Of Noise Records, Petit Chantier Records, Desertion Records and React With Protest Records.
The Third Memory are a french band having already released a first lp, a split 7″ with the already defunct Cease Upon The Capitol and another split 7″ with the also already dead Only For The Sake Of Aching. They play screamo with hardcore influences in the vein of Tristan Tzara or even Orchid.
You can pre-order the record already from each label listed above, no info about the price. The record should be send to the pressing plant in the next two weeks, all recordings are done already.

Keitzer Pre-order Deal on Reactwithprotest

Yes, back with some more hardcore news after some days
Reactwithprotest announces a pre-order for the upcoming Keitzer LP called “As The World Burns”. There will be a special pre-order package including

• “As The World Burns” LP on limited white vinyl
• Keitzer’s Split 7″ with Das Krill.

This package is yours for 10 euros plus postage, there are not this many packages left, so act fast and order it via an email to label@reactwithprotest.org. The record will be released in the next couple of days, the testpress sounds awesome!

RWP October News: June Paik 10inch & Keitzer LP & Dolcim Tour

The next two releases on React With Protest Records are:

• The June Paik 10inch was delayed two times due to some layout problems, but it should be out in two or three weeks. You can still pre-order it.
• Some new release in the rwp schedule is the new Keitzer LP titled “As The World Burns”. Keitzer are in the vein of Bremen Hardcore style like Mörser and Systral.

Besides this Lars is booking the European tour for Dolcim, whose Demo CD-R resp. Tape is available in the RWP Webstore. The band is in Europe from 20th May until 27th of June 2009, if you want to set up a show or want any further information just drop Lars an email.

New Towers song online

Philly’s most chaotic punk rockers Towers have a new song posted on their myspace site. This song called “Swells” is still unmastered but frantic and chaotic as fuck. If you liked the Towers LP on React With Protest Records you will love their new output. Expect a CD / vinyl release sometimes early 2009 through Init Records and Erode Records as well as a tape release through Utarid:Tapes.

June Paik 10 Inch Cover

React With Protest Records has published the cover of the upcoming June Paik 10 Inch. It will contain 4 new tracks in the vein of June Paik’s earlier recordings, packed in a lovely gatefold cover.

June Paik 10 Inch Pre-Order on React With Protest (Update!)

Update: If you pre-order a June Paik 10″ you will get a Dolcim demo for free with your order!
La familia Ulbrich is on holidays this week and after that the upcoming June Paik 10 inch will be sent to the pressing plant. The record contains 4 new long tracks in about 25 minutes. You can already pre-order the record, it costs 10 euros postpaid for German orders, 12 euros postpaid for European orders. You can paypal the money to label@reactwithprotest.org. Please not that Lars is on holidays this week, so be a bit patient to get a response from React With Protest.
As already stated here you can listen to one of the new songs on the bands or the labels myspace sites linked above.

Dolcim Demo CD-R available

React With Protest has the demo cd-r of the us band Dolcim available. Dolcim are Justin, Sean and Matt or in other words Cease Upon The Capitol with a new drummer.
They pretty much start where Cease Upon The Capitol ended, so check it out. If you live in the US just write the band an email and you can get a copy of the demo for free.

uk’s finest, Kaddish and Battle Of Wolf 359 enter the stages with their little tour through europe (see above for the tour dates). On the other hand they have recorded a split 7 inch which will be available on React With Protest Records soon. You can listen to the Kaddish song “Combray” on the RWP Myspace Site.

Emo Annihilation 6 Inch on React With Protest

Yes, it is announced for a long time, but now the records are pressed and React With Protest is only waiting for the covers of the third and last part of the 30-second-screamo-hardcore-compilation-series Emo Annihilation. This time it is a lovely 6 Inch with lots of great bands. The almighty Titan have 50 limited tour editions with different covers with them on tour.
