Cry Me A River Fest 2009 DVD

That’s right, you thought it would never happen, but it is nearly completed: The DVD documenting the Cry Me A River Fest 2009! You get to see performances of all bands of this years fest, it is compiled by Sean of the lovely Dolcim (who will soon have some new tunes out, perpare yourself for them!).

You can get it soon for 5 Euros plus postage either from Lars of React With Protest Records or directly by Sean for people living outside Europe

Cry Me A River Fest 2009 roundup

After our first news about the Cry Me A River Fest 2009 we give you another roundup with new information on pricing and the schedule so far.

As every year you have to reserve your tickets in front, so no way to get tickets at the fest if you haven’t pre-ordered one of the 300 tickets! Both days cost 15€, friday 8€, saturday 10€. You can get a vegan breakfast on saturday morning for 4€ done by the lovely Ulbrich family. Due to littering stuff in the last years there is a camping and trash fee of 5€ per tent. First news on the Cry Me A River Fest 2009: It will take place in the Wöstenkrug in Peckeloh\Versmold again, the dates are friday 26th and saturday 27th of June. There are already some bands confirmed, you will be rocked by Danse Macabre, Ghostlimb, Graf Orlock, Ghostchant, Zann, Dolcim, Grinding Halt and the fucking almighty SHIKARI! Yes, that’s right Shikari will reunite for one show at the Cry Me A River Fest 2009, so be prepared! We keep you updated on this.

RWP News January 2009

hi folks,
after some short break we are back with some exciting news from React With Protest Records:

• The Third Memory’s 2nd LP will be available in early february, you can already preorder it in the RWP Webstore.
• The long delayed Battle Of Wolf 359 full-length should be available in february, too.
• The Dolcim full-length is planned for march / april 2009 and is thus ready for the band’s European Tour in May / June.
• The news about the Cry Me A River Fest 2009 are old news for us besides some more confirmed bands. Just have a look here.

Kaddish & Battle Of Wolf 359: Mini Tour & Split 7 inch

uk’s finest, Kaddish and Battle Of Wolf 359 enter the stages with their little tour through europe (see above for the tour dates). On the other hand they have recorded a split 7 inch which will be available on React With Protest Records soon. You can listen to the Kaddish song “Combray” on the RWP Myspace Site.

…Who Calls So Loud plays Cry Me A River Fest 2008 -> Running Order changed!

…Who Calls So Loud will not play the Hamburg show on 04th of july but they will extend the line-up of the Cry Me A River Fest 2008! This will change the running order of the fest a bit, the start on friday will be 30 minutes earlier, i.e. the first band Ding Dong Dead will begin their show at 6:30 pm. there will be no change of the running order on saturday, 05th of july. the new running order of the cmar 2008 is …

finally we have the running order of the Cry Me A River Fest 2008 fixed. there were some problems about Kontrapunkt which were first scheduled on friday. Kontrapunkt will play the show with Trainwreck, Comadre, Actress and Mindtrap in Wiesbaden on friday 04th of july, on saturday the 05th of July they will play the cmar fest in peckeloh. There are still tickets available -> label@reactwithprotest.org.

Update: As there are still questions about this we repeat what is already posted on the cmar myspace site: There will be NO possibility to get tickets on the 04th and 05th of July at Peckeloh / Versmold. If you want to be part of the fest you have to order the tickets upfront. For more details see this cmar myspace blog or contact RWP directly.
