Cult Ritual: Nearly whole discography downloadable!

On their weblog the us hardcore maniacs of Cult Ritual have put nearly their complete discography, as far as we get to know the left stuff should be uploaded sometimes soon. Until then you can download for free:

• Demo I Tape – self-released in December 2006, 100 pieces
• 1st 7inch -  by Burrito in August 2007, 1000 pieces(lots of colors)
• Demo II CD – self-released in December 2007 for their winter tour, 75 pieces
• Tape III / Collection – two pressings of this tape from 2008, the songs on the A side are mixes of the songs on the B side
• 2nd 7inch – released in August 2008 on Youth Attack, 500 pieces

Lightning Bolt touring Europe in November 2008

Update: We have updated the tour dates, added most of the bands playing with lb on this tour as well as the tour poster designed by Dennis Typhus.

Lightning Bolt will tour Europe this fall. Here are the tour dates, as you can see there are some dates which are not fixed until now, but i’m sure they won’t have problems to play shows. We try to keep these tour dates up-to-date, so check them regularly for new dates added.

Far Reunion Shows

One of these bands that you cannot forget are back for some shows, yes, we are talking about the wonderful Far. The band is back together, for the time being just for some shows, and they have already played some shows in America, from which youtube videos are posted, as the one below of “Water And Solutions” from Glasshouse Pomona:

Yehonala Tapes is back!

After a (for me) too long hiatus Yehonala Tapes is back on track! These days they have released the long planned 25 Dollar Massacre Discography Tape. 50 pieces of this great release are done, 25 in the usual black/white style, the other 25 are done in different colors and handnumbered. They have put a video online in which you can get an impression of the process of making the tape.

Beside the new release the label has returned with a completely new website and updated their distro list.

Patterns / Fuckyouismyname 7inch

What a team-up! Two of the best rocking German bands of these days unite for one lovely 7inch: Patterns are known from their great first releases, followed up by split 12inch with the mighty Falcon Five. On the other side of this little piece of wax we find Fuckyouismyname with there hectic, guitar-driven rock.

This is a split release of Earth Water Sky Records and Altin Village Records. You can get the record through both labels and the band, it costs 3,50 euros plus postage.

RWP October News: June Paik 10inch & Keitzer LP & Dolcim Tour

The next two releases on React With Protest Records are:

• The June Paik 10inch was delayed two times due to some layout problems, but it should be out in two or three weeks. You can still pre-order it.
• Some new release in the rwp schedule is the new Keitzer LP titled “As The World Burns”. Keitzer are in the vein of Bremen Hardcore style like Mörser and Systral.

Besides this Lars is booking the European tour for Dolcim, whose Demo CD-R resp. Tape is available in the RWP Webstore. The band is in Europe from 20th May until 27th of June 2009, if you want to set up a show or want any further information just drop Lars an email.

Gods & Queens LP out now!

Gods & Queens are ex-lick golden sky, ex-versoma, ex-get fucked and so on, thus you should have some hint what to expect from this band. The three-piece from Brooklyn/Philadelphia has released their first full-length on Adagio830 Records and Robotic Empire. The gatefold cover comes with a CD version of the LP.

You get the translucent orange version from Adagio830 Records and the translucent purple one from Robotic Empire, both are made each 425 pieces of. The third version on translucent orange / white you can only get from the band, there are only 150 pieces of this one done.
The Adagio830-version can already be ordered through the Bis Aufs Messer Webstore for 12,50 euros.
