I Not Dance: First LP soon to be released on Synalgie Records

I Not Dance are a three piece from Austria playing really great music in the vein of post hardcore with nice screaming and lots of great atmospheric sounds. Their first full-length “So You Think You Can Stop Me And Spit In My Eyes” will be released in two weeks on Synalgie Records.

The band has put a lot of effort in the recording of the eight songs and the result is fascinating. You can pre-order it from Synalgie Records, it costs 8 Euros plus postage.

Josephine Demo & Cotidie Mori Demo Tapes out on utarid:tapes

My lovely friend Arwith from utarid:tapes has released two new demo tapes:

• Josephine are a screamo band from Malaysia playing heart-felt stuff in the vein of Kaospilot and early June Paik. This is the tape version of the long out of print 3inch CD-R, 100 copies are made.
• Cotidie Mori are an Italian band sharing members with La Quiete playing emo violence as it is meant to be. This is the tape version of the previously released 7inch + CD-R version of the same songs.

California’s Loser Life have rocked Europe this summer on their tour, now they have put a weblog online in which you can download the whole discography, i.e.

Only For The Sake Of Aching is dead!

Sadly we have told you that after their european tour with Amalthea one of the best German bands in the vein of Yage announced their end: Only For The Sake Of Aching are dead!
The band has decided not to release their recorded and wonderful new songs for the planned first full-length on Broken Glasses Records, thus these songs will not be released on vinyl anytime soon. We will miss you guys, it was a great time!

New Towers song online

Philly’s most chaotic punk rockers Towers have a new song posted on their myspace site. This song called “Swells” is still unmastered but frantic and chaotic as fuck. If you liked the Towers LP on React With Protest Records you will love their new output. Expect a CD / vinyl release sometimes early 2009 through Init Records and Erode Records as well as a tape release through Utarid:Tapes.

One of my favourite bands in the last years, Denver’s Green Fuse have put some new songs online. These are a lot in the vein of mid90s stuff, with a bit of frickel-wickel guitars like What Price Wonderland?. This is for fans of Humble Ary, Bailer and lovely Ash From Sweat Records.
