We can finally announce this: The first full-length of lovely Only For The Sake Of Aching will be released on our label this summer. This will be a split release with Hey Hey Records and Still Leben Records.

African Scream Contest

in the last weeks i found some really great label called analog africa which releases some nice african music. their last release is called African Scream Contest and it is simply fantastic: no screamo, no hardcore, but an awesome piece of african music: funk, jazz, soul and blues at its best! this cd or double vinyl collects 14 tracks of Lokonon André & Les Volcans, Picoby Band D’Abomey, Gabo Brown & Orchestre Poly-Rythmo, El Rego et Ses Commandos, Discafric Band and others, most of them were long time lost and the recordings were found in african storage rooms. this comes together with a 44 pages booklet full of information and stories about the artists and their music.
if you are not too focused on hardcore music and like listening to “new” music this is for you!

Corrupted’s Paso Inferior LP Repress out now on Bis Aufs Messer

Finally after a long wait the repress of Corrupted’s Paso Inferior LP which was released years ago on Insolito. The lp is not just a repress of the cd version of Paso Inferior, it is new recorded and remixed. Some time ago Adagio830 Records and Vendetta Records have opened a record store in Berlin, called Bis Aufs Messer, this repress is a joined release of both under the Bis Aufs Messer Records label. You can get the lp now directly at their webstore and i think it will be soon available in all your loved distros, too.

Buried Inside: Expect New Album in January 2009

from the official Buried Inside website we have the news that the band is not broken up and even recording a new record which is planned to be released in Januar 2009. Here is the official statement:

Despite what may seem like complete inactivity, BURIED INSIDE are not broken up. Not even close. The writing for the followup to CHRONOCLAST is nearing completion and pre-production has been underway for the last couple of months. Arrangements are being ironed out for the upcoming recording, and barring any obstacles, a release date is expected for January 2009 through Relapse Records.

Cry Me A River Fest 2008 (Update!)

Update: As there are still questions about this we repeat what is already posted on the cmar myspace site: There will be NO possibility to get tickets on the 04th and 05th of July at Peckeloh / Versmold. If you want to be part of the fest you have to order the tickets upfront. For more details see this cmar myspace blog or contact RWP directly.
